GET CREATIVE FOR A BRIGHTER GREENER FUTURE
On Wed 11 October, 5.30-8pm, Art and Energy and Plymouth Culture invite you to a free creative session at GROW to share, explore and celebrate ways we can respond to the Climate Emergency.
Join in with 'The Mossy Carpet' and share experience of decarbonisation, eco-anxiety, and ways that we can use our creativity towards a net-zero, environmentally-rich Plymouth. All artists, creatives and cultural organisations in the Plymouth area are welcome to attend - all walks of creative life are most welcome!
BOOKING INFORMATION
The workshop is free of charge but booking via Eventbrite is required.
We are sorry but this event is not suitable for children to attend.
AOUT THE ‘GET CREATIVE FOR A BRIGHTER GREENER FUTURE’
Plymouth Culture and Art and Energy are working together on this new 3-year project supporting the cultural sector in Plymouth to Get Creative for a Brighter Greener Future. This autumn they are holding 8 events across the city so please pop along to a session, encourage others to sign up too, and together we'll make a difference.
PART OF A YEAR-LONG SERIES OF RESIDENCIES AND CULTURAL EVENTS
This event is part of a year-long series of pop-up residencies and cultural events working with partners to experiment and explore the building, its surroundings, heritage and looks to the future in terms of sustainability, inclusion, food and drink, grassroots arts, music and culture. The top floors have recently been converted into studios, which are now creative home to painters, audio artists, printmakers, installation and socially engaged artists.
