LOW PROFILE: COME SEW WITH US - BANNER MAKING DAYS

Join LOW PROFILE to make a series of new large-scale banners and artworks - a chance for people to come together, sew, chat and hang out.

Using patchwork and hand-quilting techniques, work together to make artworks that celebrate the power of coming together to achieve change through community building, group effort and collective action.

Please RSVP by booking a place on this event, so we know who and how many people to expect.

NO PREVIOUS SEWING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

LOW PROFILE welcome people of all abilities - whether you are a complete beginner, or an experienced sewist. LOW PROFILE will show you the ropes and get you started so that it’s easy to take part.

This session is for adults, family groups and people who are curious about hand-sewing and creativity. All ages welcome. Under 18s need to be accompanied by an adult during the session.

DROP IN SESSIONS

It will be a very relaxed come-and-go session, so you can join us for as long as suits you (and don’t have to stay for the whole day). They’re will be free tea, coffee and biscuits to share - and you are welcome to bring a packed lunch or snacks to eat while you’re here.

Please RSVP by booking a place on this event, so that we know who and how many people to expect.

LOW PROFILE's ‘Come Sew with us’ Making Days are supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
